The goal of The Finnish Postcard Association Apollo is to make the postcard culture more widely known, to improve the preparing of postcard collections and to improve the interactions between the members.
Apollo was founded in 20th April 1977.
The association has its monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of every month (not in July and August) in Helsinki General Post Office. Its address is Asema-aukio 5 H, Helsinki.
The APOLLO magazine has been published regularly since 1981.
From 1985 the association has organized The Postcard's Days which is an exhibition and collection event.
The competition shows and the education they require of the judges, form an important part of the association's activity. In the autumns the members gather together every year in different parts of Finland for postcard seminars.
The international activity has become more important for the association in the recent years. Even foreign dealers have participated in The Postcard's Days, as well as buyers.
